Living clean is a spiritual process. Deep down we might have a flawed belief about what our lives may look like if we stop using. We worry that our lives will become boring and monotonous. You stopping using drugs is a question only you can answer for yourself. Remember, it is not what we think about not using that matters, it's what we do.
Pain and misery are realities.
Most addicts are unwilling to accept reality so they do their best to change what is unacceptable.
They use drugs because they don't want to feel.
Subconsciously they seek help thinking they want to stop using not knowing they just want the pain to stop.
All addicts must ask themselves do they really want to stop using drugs and answer it honestly.
